Contest #220 answer: Nouméa, New Caledonia

Grande Terre is the main island of the French territory of New Caledonia.
Nouméa is the capital city of New Caledonia and is situated on this island.

Gary has compiled a top-ten list of the cities he visited and Nouméa is on spot #10 of this list.

As he writes:
“Noumea is easily the most beautiful city in the Pacific outside of New Zealand. It is almost like a city on the French Rivera which has been transported to the Pacific. Walking around Noumea and its several harbors was a great experience.”
