This was clearly a difficult challenge: Collevalenza is a small town in the Umbria region in Italy.
It is known trough The Sanctuary of Merciful Love, a Christian pilgrimage chapel, established in 1951.
Pope John Paul II made a pilgrimage to this place on 22 November 1981 on which occasion he raised the status of the church at Collevalenza to a Minor Basilica.
Those who found the way:

Santiago de Compostella is the capital city of Galicia in Spain.
It is famous for its Pilgrimage to the Cathedral (in the centre of the picture), called El Camino de Santiago.
Legend has it that the remains of St James are buried in the Cathedral.

Grande Terre is the main island of the French territory of New Caledonia.
Nouméa is the capital city of New Caledonia and is situated on this island.
Gary has compiled a top-ten list of the cities he visited and Nouméa is on spot #10 of this list.
As he writes:
“Noumea is easily the most beautiful city in the Pacific outside of New Zealand. It is almost like a city on the French Rivera which has been transported to the Pacific. Walking around Noumea and its several harbors was a great experience.”
Those who agreed with Gary:

And that is the end of another series.
We congratulate both mccrumplair and steve willis on winning this series with 19 points.
Stay tuned for the next series of 10 challenges.
