Contest #3 Answer

Kevin Lew wasted no time in answering Contest #3. It was Andros Island in the Bahamas. The massive chunk of turquoise visible from almost any distance was a dead give away. The color of the sea and the sand are all due to massive deposits of calcium carbonate which can precipitate out of the warm Caribbean water.
