Last week we had the longest place name in Europe, this week (one of the) shortest: Y in the Somme department in France. It is a small rural town with a population of appr. 85.
Thanks to its short name it is a twinned city with Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
The inhabitants call themselves Ypsiloniens/Ypsiloniennes.
