Contest #735: perhaps what’s left of the Hoosier Golf Course near Hoosier, Saskatchewan, Canada

Contest 735 was not going to be easy, searching for a field somewhere on earth. And it turned out to be tough, with only 4 people locating the needle in the haystack.

The key to finding this one was to figure out what the pattern was – and what the nine black dots were. Then figure out what else there was to help find this location and go out and find it. As it turns out, this is the Hoosier Golf Course, near Hoosier, Saskatchewan about 4.5 hours from Mac the Moose in Moose Jaw. The nine black dots are sand greens with worn areas the fairways. Once you land on the green, you can roll out the sand between your ball and the hole and putt away. The ball rolls nicely on top of the sand.
