  1. This is Hong Kong International Airport. It is located on a island called Chek Lap Kok (famous for reclaimed land). This one was very easy, since I am an Google Earth Airport buff.

  2. This is the new Hong Kong International Airport, known as Chek Lap Kok. It replaced the old Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong itself.

I recognised it from the terminal building designed by Sir Norman Foster’s company. I just had to make a quick check to ensure I wasn’t confusing it with the Kansai airport near Osaka.

  3. Hong Kong International Airport. I ‘googled’ airport sea artificial and checked the links.

  4. Hong Kong International Airport. Not a lot of airports on man made islands; I figured it was either HK or Osaka.

  5. Chek Lap Kok Island/Hong Kong International Airport. It looked like a large airport, so I assumed it would be a larger commercial international one. I also figured that since it was built on an island, that it would be found in a place with limited space. Honk Kong fits these criteria and was my second guess.

  6. Contest 42 photo is of Chep Lap Kok (the airport that services Hong Kong (22 18 19.42N, 113 55 8.32E)).
