It is the Nuclear power plant at Chernobyl (Ukr) that blew up on April 26, 1968.
The blue grey structure is the concrete surrounding, (the ‘sarcophagus’) around reactor #4.
Chernobyl Nuclear Plant, Ukraine at approximately 51N 30E
The Chernobyl nuclear plant in the Ukraine. Check out the abandoned city of Pripiat to the northeast. Mindblowing!
Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant

Correction: 1968 is of course 1986.
Sorry about that.
Chernobyl Nuclear Power station – well, ex power station.
Tchernobyl Power Plant, Ukraine (AKA site of Chernobyl accident) nearly 21 years ago
Its Chernobyl! Took me a few days to figure that out though. Originally I suspected it was a nuclear power plant but thought it couldn’t be because I didn’t see either any concrete containment domes. Those domes, of course, a feature Chernobyl lacked.
