The day this contest went live, was the very same day of the launch of NASA LADEE Moon Dust mission.

It was launched with a Minotaur V rocket from Pad 0B at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, Virginia.

Funny enough it was launched together with a toad 🙂

It looks a bit like a gigantic sugarwork building, but is is a contemporary Buddhist temple, built in 1997.

Wat Rong Khun is also known as the White Temple.

Despite its looks, this was built in 1997

There are quite a few industrial world heritage site on the UNESCO list, amongst whom is the former Ironworks complex in Völklingen: The Völklinger Hütte.

Erected in 1881, the plant began producing in 1883 and stayed into production until 1986.
In 1994 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list as this is the only intact example of an integrated ironworks from this period.
