Contest #728: Baha’i House of Worship, Apia, Samoa

To the Temple of Gods (30379139910)

The 6th “Continental House of Worship” in the Baha’i faith, this spot is also commonly referred to as “Mother Temple of the Pacific Islands”. It was completed in 1984 and was dedicated by Samoa’s leader Malietoa Tanumafili II, the world’s first adherent of Baha’i to serve as the Head of State for a nation.

As the hint mentioned, all Baha’i temples must be nonagonal, and this site is unique because the walls are open to the Pacific breezes.
