The John. C. Stennis Space Centre is not well known, although it is the major rocket test facility of NASA.
It was original built in 1961 for testing the Saturn rockets for the Apollo program.
In the centre of the picture is the B-2 test stand, where the Saturn rocket was tested and is currently being rebuilt for testing the SLS engines, which will also be used for (manned) Mars missions in the future.
