  1. Colonel James Jabara Airport, Wichita, Kansas. A certain pilot will get teased about this one for a while.

  2. The most famous airport of the week 🙂

  3. This airport was in the news a couple of days ago when a 747 was mistakenly landed here, on a runway too short for it to take off again. It’s in Wichita, KS, USA.

An easy guess. A co-worker looking over my shoulder guessed it before he even knew this was a contest. Incidentally, the image has changed.

  4. Colonel James Jabara Airport, in NE Wichita, KS.

Made famous this week after B747 landed here instead of McConnell AFB about 8 miles to the south.

  5. Colonel James Jabara airfield, Wichita, Kansas

A Boeing 747 Dreamlifter accidentally landed here instead of landing on McConnels AFB nearby.

  6. Colonel James Jabara Airport in Wichita, Kansas. This airport has the distinction of *NOT* being McConnell Air Force Base!

  7. Colonel James Jabara Airport, located nine miles (14 km) northeast of the central business district of Wichita, a city in Sedgwick County, Kansas, United States.

  8. Colonel James Jabara Airport, Wichiti, Kansas
few days ago: a Dreamlifter arrived in Wichita, which has several airports. The plane received clearance to land at McConnell Air Force Base, the intended destination. Instead, the plane landed at the much-smaller Col. James Jabara Airport nine miles away

    Very tricky !!!
