Quiriguá is a Mayan archeological site, which is not the most prominent of Mayan sites, but it has the largest Mayan stelae to be found anywhere.
There is archeological evidence it was inhabited at the end of the Preclassic Era
It was not easy this week. This is probably one of the most difficult UNESCO sites to be found on GE.
