Contest #209 answer: Bodega Bay, California, USA

In 1963 Alfred Hitchcock made his movie ‘The Birds’. He chose the Bodega Bay in California as his main location. Although most of the shooting was done in a mockup in the English studios, the Tides Wharf & Restaurant was the place where Tippi Hedren found her shelter when the Birds attacked.

  1. WWOOOOOWWW!!! That was hard! I was thinking air raid shelters….after the hint! 🙂

  2. If the goal is simply to catch people out with something obscure, you’ve succeeded. But if the image contains no hint as to the location or its meaning, what’s the point? It could be anywhere, and might as well be any random spot on the planet.

  3. Hi Brian,

Sorry to hear that you don’t like the current theme.
