  1. The traditionally identified birthplace of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, West Bank. Specifically, at the crosshairs is Manger Square (I think).

  2. Church of a birth in Betlehem

Thanks for a good series of contests.

  3. That’s the spot in Bethlehem that is traditionally considered to be the birthplace of Jesus (though the Church of the Nativity is actually about 400 meters west of there).

  4. Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Israel.
It would seem that other placemarks locate the church a quarter or even half a kilometer WSW of the crosshairs…
… perhaps there is some competition going on?

  5. Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.

There seems to be some slight disagreement on Google Earth about this location. The site at the crosshairs is labeled as the Church of the Nativity, but there are many more markers with that label at a site slightly to the west.

    Merry Christmas!

  6. This is Bethlehem. The Church of Nativity is in the picture but not exactly in the crosshairs (according to google maps). I hope that this is the clue you were looking for 😛
