One of the world’s most famous beaches, Praia de Copacabana is an extremely popular relaxation spot on the Atlantic. The beach is bounded by resort hotels, including the famous Copacabana Plaza, and features a promenade designed by Roberto Burle Marx.
Every New Years Eve, the beach is the site of a massive celebration and fireworks display.
