Brooklands was the worlds first purpose-built motor race circuit.

Famous for its banked high speed track it was in use from 1907 until 1939.

Brooklands also hosts one of the first British airfields and during WW II it was used for military aircraft production.

Nowadays it is an industrial estate and also hosts the Brooklands Museum and the Mercedes-Benz World

The Khyber Pass is for centuries one of the main trade routes between Asia and the Middle East. Ever since 326 B.C. when Alexander the Great marched his troops trough this pass to India

The town of Torkham lies at the Afghanistan/Pakistan border and is situated about 5 kms west of the summit of the pass.
