As mentioned in the hint, La Perla is the tallest Ferris Wheel (or “Observation Wheel)” on the continent of South America. It is located on Malecón 2000, an entertainment district that Guyaquil has invested a considerable sum on in the hopes of attracting more tourism to the area.
