Drielandenpunt near Vaals, NL where the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany meet—Europe’s most accessible tripoint!
Located on the Vaalserberg, what was the highest point in the Netherlands at 322.5 meters, this spot lets you stand in three countries at once. It’s marked by a stone pillar and surrounded by the flags of each nation. The area is a popular tourist destination with two observation towers—the Wilhelmina Tower (Netherlands) and the King Baudouin Tower (Belgium)—offering panoramic views across the borders.
The hint referred to the fact that following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles on October 10, 2010, Saba became a special municipality (or “public body”) directly within the Netherlands. The title of highest point in the country now goes to Mount Scenery on the Caribbean island of Saba, which rises to 887 meters (2,910 feet).
