Upcoming contest #900 – an update

Thanks to all who have submitted locations! Paul and I have decided to run a series rather than one post with 15 to 20 locations.

Where On Google Earth has been around for close to 17 years since Contest #1 back on February 12, 2008. Players from many countries have travelled the world on a weekly basis, and for upcoming Contest #900, we would like to offer up a series full of locations close to your various homes.

Comment on this post to send us a hint and location near you – we don’t want difficult ones, but ones that show players where others live. Over the past ten years, Paul and I have had the opportunity to reach out to some and got to know a few of you via email. It’s been a delight to act as hosts.

Points as usual, with a twist:
– 2 for correct responses before the hint
– 1 for correct responses after the hint
– a bonus point if you can guess who submitted the location
