Contest #526: Jeddah Light, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Built as a navagational aid, but not initially a lighthouse, the Jeddah Light became the worlds tallest (133 M) lighthouse when the beacon was added to the top.
The structure also serves as the port control tower.
